Performing with Crash! Bang! Boom! Led by Kocassale Dioubate, a master drummer and griot from Guinea, West Africa, Kunda is a four-person ensemble blending traditional percussion, vocals, and dance. As a descendant of the Mandingo ‘djeliba’ (griots)—keepers of oral history, spiritual wisdom, and musical tradition—Kocassale brings deep cultural roots and electric energy to the stage. Kunda’s performance is a celebration of African heritage and community connection through rhythm and movement.
